Mr. Demetris Eliades studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He founded the Firm in 1980. His main areas of practice are corporate law, contract law, banking law, accidents and personal injuries.

Mr. Eliades served as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus from 1985 to 2001. During his office he chaired the Parliamentary Committee on Environment and served on a number of other Committees, including the Law Committee. He was also member of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association from 1986 to 2001 and served as a member of its Executive Committee. He is, also, a member of the European Association of Legislation since 1990. Having served on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Bank from 2005 he was appointed to the Ministerial Post in March 2010, where he served as Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment and then from July 2011 until March 2013 he served as Minister of Defense.

From March 2013 onwards Demetris Eliades resumed his duties as head of the Law Firm until the end of 2022 and as from 2023 he became a legal consultant.
